Frustrated with the same problems you are having, we decided to take the matter into our own hands. Pillows were all over the property every time we came back to visit our Airbnb, and we loved our designs but couldn't have the pillows out waiting for our guests. Scouring the internet to no avail, we realized the world was waiting for this solution.

The PillowWeight has 16 pockets containing equal amounts of micro-glass beads totaling a whopping pound of extra weight. Due to the centered placement of the PillowWeight on the case, the weight pulls the loose portions of your pillowcase tighter around the pillow, creating a beautiful, tight, plump and weighted new presentation.

We used an anemometer to measure the exact wind speed while testing, and found that most pillows without the weight would dislodge at around 20-24mph. Ours, however, held until sustained speeds of over 50mph. Absolutely, they stand up to 50mph gusts.

Currently in the research and development phase, we are working on a solution for outdoor pillows that don't use a pillowcase. We hope to be done by Q4 2024. What makes our products unique is our materials and gall. This cannot be done with consumer grade adhesives, and to be in the business of selling heavy items, the margin is quickly eaten up by shipping costs. This is why the problem hadn't been solved yet, and why we are the only product of our kind.

As long as the shortest diameter on your pillow measures longer than 12", these PillowWeights will work for you. If the middle of your oval from top to bottom is less than 12", then it may be too tight of a squeeze. PillowWeights do not work with pillows without a pillowcase, but we are currently in development of a solution for these pillows too.

You can wash the PillowWeights while they are installed on the pillow or detach the weight and wash the pillow alone. Washing the weight by itself can cause the hook fasteners to damage the nylon fabric during machine wash/dry.
